Utility Bill
Eaton Rapids City Hall is who you contact to find out more information about your water, sewer and electric bill. The City generates bills on a monthly basis. Utiility Bills are mailed out on the last working day of each month. Utility Bills are always due on the 15th of every month. If the 15th of the month falls on a holiday or a weekend, you are allowed to pay your bill on the next working day without penalty.
If you are moving and need services discontinued, you need to contact City Hall and give 24 hour notice.
If you are moving into the City and need services connected, you need to contact City Hall and give 24 hour notice.
The City of Eaton Rapids has the availability for customers to sign up for Direct Payment options. If you wish to have this option, you need to come to City Hall and fill out the form to have your Utility Bill automatically taken out of your checking and/or savings account.
The City of Eaton Rapids also has the availability for Level Billing. You will need to have been a Utility Customer of the City for a period of 12 months, be in good standing with the City, and sign up for this feature at City Hall by April of each year.
You can also pay your Utility Bill by Credit Card, but only by going on line and signing up at Officialpayments.com and filling out the form. It should be noted that this company charges 2% of the total amount being paid as a service fee.
City Hall is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can also drop your payment off in our drop box that is located just outside the front door of City Hall. Council agenda's are posted to the website by Friday around 12:00pm. Our meeting schedule is a Work Session on the 1st and 3rd Monday's at 5pm and Council Meetings on the 2nd and 4th Monday's at 7pm. All meetings are held at City Hall on the 2nd floor.
