The Eaton Rapids Business and Professional Women's Club (BPW) will be awarding three $1,000 college scholarships to women who are continuing their education and are residents in the Eaton Rapids School District. Applicants must be 25 years of age or older and currently enrolled in an accredited college program.
Through its fundraising efforts, the Eaton Rapids BPW Club has awarded college scholarships for more than fifty years to local women who have returned to school in order to make a better life for themselves and their families. Over the years this program has provided much needed assistance to many deserving women in the Eaton Rapids area.
The Eaton Rapids BPW scholarship application can be downloaded from the homepage of the Business and Professional Women's Michigan wesite at www.bpw-michigan.org or by calling Janet Davidson at (517) 663-8558.
The deadline for submitting the scholarship application is March 31, 2014.

Marrie Jo Drake
The City of Eaton Rapids would like to introduce our newest employee, Deputy Treasurer Marrie Jo Drake. Marrie Jo started with the City back in November of 2013 to replace Deputy Treasurer Carla Mazur who retired with the City in December of 2013. Marrie Jo has many years of Municipal training as she was previously employed with the Village of Lake Odessa.

Hello Eaton Rapids Community!!! First, I want to thank the City Council for giving me this great opportunity to lead the Eaton Rapids Police Department. I am very excited to be returning home to Eaton County and look forward to many years serving as your Chief of Police.
Council agenda's are posted to the website by Friday around 12:00pm. Our meeting schedule is a Work Session on the 1st and 3rd Monday's at 5pm and Council Meetings on the 2nd and 4th Monday's at 7pm. All meetings are held at City Hall on the 2nd floor.
