The City of Eaton Rapids along with Granger will be having the Annual "Dejunking Day" at 300 Market Street at the Waste Water Treatment Plant. The Spring Cleanup will be on Saturday, May 17th from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.! Granger WILL NOT accept: Lead acid batteries; sewage; yard trimmings; whole tires; hazardous waste; liquids; radioactive materials; drums/barrels which are not empty; compressed gas cylinders; appliances with freon; any container with a hazardous waste label; ignitable, corrosive, reactive or toxic materials; medical wastes; asbestos; computer equipment.
The City will also be offering a recycling opportunity for you to turn in your old working refrigerators, freezers or window air conditioners for a rebate under our Energy Optimization Program. You will need to bring a copy of your Utility Bill along with your old working appliance.

Hello Eaton Rapids Community!!! First, I want to thank the City Council for giving me this great opportunity to lead the Eaton Rapids Police Department. I am very excited to be returning home to Eaton County and look forward to many years serving as your Chief of Police.
Council agenda's are posted to the website by Friday around 12:00pm. Our meeting schedule is a Work Session on the 1st and 3rd Monday's at 5pm and Council Meetings on the 2nd and 4th Monday's at 7pm. All meetings are held at City Hall on the 2nd floor.
