July 4th Celebration

Please join us for all of the events planned to celebrate our Country's Birthday, on Thursday, July 4th!!!
The City of Eaton Rapids and the July 4th Committee, are coming together to celebrate our Country's birthday....and do they have a day long party planned for you!
The events will begin on Wednesday, July 3rd, with a Beer Tent at Hamlin Square and music events which will also be taking place all day on the 4th! We will begin the day on the 4th with craft shows on Hamlin Square, the annual Parade which begins at 11:00 a.m.; special floats for the event; numerous food vendors galore; pedal tractor pull events; Lion's Club Duck Race; Pie Eating Contest; Hot Dog Eating Contest; Dog Show; Waterball Contest; and music all day long!
Plan on spending the day downtown with everything that is going on and then winding up the day with the fantastic fireworks display that will take place at the High School! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!!!!!!

The latest installment of the Drug Take Back Initiative sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration will take place on Saturday, April 27th, from 10:00am until 2:00pm. You may bring your unwanted prescription or non prescription medications to the Eaton Rapids Public Safety Building for proper disposal. I’m sorry but we cannot accept liquids, sprays, creams or aerosols. The program is anonymous.
